New construction with wood and system: the timpla by Renggli wood module factory

The project

In September 2024, timpla by Renggli puts into operation Germany's largest timber module plant. The innovative company in Eberswalde in eastern Germany is backed by Renggli AG, Saxovent GmbH, Sächsisches Ärzteversorgungswerk and MQ Real Estate GmbH. timpla by Renggli offers tailor-made solutions for modern multi-storey residential buildings, hotels and microliving as well as future-oriented municipal buildings. With a high degree of precision and efficiency, timpla plans and produces individual timber construction modules that are impressive in terms of both architecture and functionality. The team accompanies its customers from the initial idea through planning to realization and assembly, enabling fast and cost-efficient construction that also meets the highest standards.

Mass with class

With a production area of 20,000 m², the plant is designed for the industrial production of large series and can manufacture up to 2,000 modules per year. timpla attaches particular importance to sustainability and resource efficiency. Using state-of-the-art technology and an automated production process, the up to 200 employees manufacture custom-fit modules that impress in terms of quality and precision. Thanks to the high level of prefabrication, the modules can be assembled quickly and efficiently on the construction sites, which significantly reduces the construction time: up to 70% faster compared to mineral construction.
How does this work? The wall and ceiling modules, for example, are already insulated in the factory and largely prefabricated. As a result, they are planked on both sides and usually contain all the important cable ducts.

Our services

For the timpla by Renggli module plant, DEVO-Tech AG supplied a total of 11 D-GT vacuum lifting devices and one D-AGT-300.25-FU vacuum lifting device manufactured according to customer specifications, which we developed especially for the demanding use in timber module production. The devices are crucial for the safe and precise handling of sensitive wooden components throughout the entire production process. With their high load-bearing capacity and safety, our D-GTs supply TechnoWood AG's modular table system, which positions the wooden modules perfectly. The robust design and simple operation of the vacuum lifting devices ensure a long service life and low maintenance costs: the ideal solution for series production in the wood module plant.

We are pleased to contribute to climate-friendly construction with our know-how and experience.

Scope of delivery

  • 11 x D-GT-600.06
Modular vacuum lifting devices with a payload of 600 kg and six suction plates each.
A powerful suction blower and intelligent vacuum monitoring are typical of these robust devices.
The connection of the vacuum lifting devices to the crane enables seamless integration and simple operation via a single radio remote control.

  • 1 x D-AGT-300.25-FU
This custom-built vacuum lifting device with a payload of 300 kg and 25 suction plates features automatic shut-off of the suction plates by means of a tappet valve.
The vacuum system regulates itself via a frequency converter blower.
Connected to the crane system, our customer uses the device to feed CNC systems.
