Road tunnel Gdańsk (PL)
NEW ROAD TUNNEL UNDER THE VISTULA
The city of Gdańsk, with the freight and ferry port and the airport, is a major transport hub in Poland as well as for connections from Scandinavia to Central and Eastern Europe. The "Słowacki Route" will cross the Vistula River with a 1.4-kilometre double-tube tunnel. The tunnel tubes will each receive two lanes and be connected by seven cross-passages for escape routes. For this project we are delivering various handling devices to Herrenknecht Formwork GmbH.
