New Lift shaft AS-Aufzüge AG Wettswil (CH)
SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION FOR HISTORICAL BUILDING ON MÜNSTERPLATZ IN BASEL
The request was a glazed lift shaft in the stairwell of the City of Basel Building and Traffic Department building on Münsterplatz in Basel. All steel constructions were produced in-house and then coated and installed on the construction site. The whole "tower" is screwed in and therefore did not have to be welded or repainted on site. The total height of the lift shaft is around 15 metres.
